Bio
Yacko is a Luxembourg-based guitarist, composer, arranger, and tutor. He graduated from MAI in 2009 and has since established career in the national and international music scene. Known for his relentless touring across Europe and songwriting.
His career has been highlighted by his European tours as a support act for death metal legends SIX FEET UNDER and performances at prestigious events such as the WACKEN OPEN AIR, HELLFEST or FRANCOFOLIES festival as guitarist for various artists. Another highlight was his musical contribution to the theater play Letters from Luxembourg in 2016, in collaboration with Sylvia Camarda and Serge Tonnar. Due to its major success, it had a revival in 2017 at the Théatre des Capucins.
The guitarist has played on stages all over Europe (Germany, Benelux, Portugal, Switzerland, UK, Romania, Austria, Poland, Czech Republic, etc.) and regularly performs live in his home country, Luxembourg..
In addition to his accomplishments as a guitarist, Yacko has showcased his versatility as composer, arranger. His expertise in these areas has allowed him to craft and produce compelling songs for bands spanning multiple styles, capturing the essence and authenticity of each genre.
The guitarist’s ability to adapt and excel in different musical landscapes such as Metal to Rock, Pop, Hip-Hop and electronic music, sets him apart as a dynamic and accomplished musician.
Through his collaborative efforts and dedication to exploring diverse musical styles, Yacko has consistently pushed boundaries, his contributions as a producer, songwriter, and multi-genre instrumentalist have expanded his artistic horizons and helped him to develop his craft .
